In preparation for the Sisters of Mary Schools 25th Anniversary this coming August 15, 2010, a meeting was organized to discuss Batch 1995 plans and preparations of the aforementioned event.
Attendees:
Mina Salud (mines), Zigfrey Camua (zig), Pam de Villa(Pam), Zen Villapando(Zen), doms, Arieste Lunas (loverboy na nagtime in lang), Eva Protacio(Eve), Leo Misa Jr. (Leo), Ronald Allan Cucio(RAC), Garry Palma(Garry).
Discussions made were still on batch level and some suggestions' implementation may depend on ASMSI/SOM approval.

August 15, 2010 Program
Batch 1995 is assigned hosting duties in the program for graduates and students in August 15, 2010. As it is, we need Emcees & performmers for the program. The following names are suggested/requested:
Emcees: Leo, Nancy Roxas, Lolayni Arpia, Nova Estabaya, Lene Ramos
Performers: Fred Bacungan, Leonardo Verdillo
Cotton Candy for all students of SOM
Cotton candy was initially assigned to other batches but Batch 1995 may assumed the said responsibility. We need to hire at least two cotton-candy machines + operator to distribute cotton candy for all students numbering to 5464.
We need to coordinate with Nelfe if she still has contacts for this.
Zig volunteered to create stubs to be utilized by the children in claiming their cotton candies.
Batch 1995 Shirt for August 2010 Event
Our Batch Shirt for August will the combined designs of Marlon Marcelino & Pam De Villa. Final design will be posted here. Canvassing will start once the design is finalized.
Games for the Children
Batch is assigned with the most number of children to facilitate games. We were assigned 10 families (454 girl students).
We are assigned two basketball courts in between the swimming pool and the Ray Grace Building. (If you are entering the girlstown campus main gate, Ray Grace building is the 7-storey building in your right.)
For the games, we need at least 10 games/relay(of course!). Fresh & Unique games for girls are preferred. We need game masters and game marshalls. Volunteers are most welcome so that tasks can be assigned as early as possible.
Megaphone and whistles would be a big help in this activity. Louie Ardidon brought a megaphone in August 2008.
Remitting of Piggy/Cow Banks
Piggy/Cow Banks distributed last August 2009 will be collected. Funds from these will be equally divided and donated between ASMSI & FACFI. We need to coordinate with ASMSI office to assign a person in charge at the registration. Replacement pig/cow banks may be available for those who wants to continue saving small amounts.
Procurement of Tents/Beach Umbrellas
This idea is for the long term. To give us shade for alumni outdoor activities like the games for the children. Estimated price, 2500 - 3000 Php Good for 8 persons. Initial plan, Zen with doms will canvass in Divisoria.

Special thanks to lovely Ms. Mina Salud for volunteering their office for the meeting venue and providing food and beverages. Also, for the alumni of the month, Salmero Valdez, for being our photographer.
This is for our batch. Participation and volunteerism are needed for our plans to see its completion. Those willing and very interested to help should coordinate with our batch representatives - Zeny or Zig.
